Ways to Use Email Marketing to Grow Your Creative Business

Email lists.

You know the importance of collecting emails and building your lists but are you using email marketing to regularly connect with these important contacts?

Email is a powerful promotional tool that gives you direct access to prospects and clients so don’t overlook it!  Unlike other marketing and advertising methods, email lets your business stay in direct, regular contact with your prospects and customers. Even better, email lets you add a personalized touch that lets them know how much you value them.

Email has the best return on investment of all forms of marketing bringing in @ $42 for every dollar spent. Besides the great return, the costs associated with email marketing are very low and once you’re set-up, you don’t have to put in a ton of time into creating emails that can be highly effective in communicating with your subscribers.

So how can your creative business use email marketing optimally? Here are a few ideas:

1. To Educate

Share content and tips that will help your readers. You can do this in the form of an e-newsletter or as an email to introduce and link to your most recent informational blog posts. Email content that helps to solve problems, increase productivity and inform your audience will always be well received.

2. Share Client Profiles

Use email to share your client case studies or success stories. These not only demonstrate your work and understanding of your client’s issues but your readers can learn from them too.

3. Offer Freebies or Goodies

Are there free digital downloads, tools, or giveaways that you can let your subscribers know about? Do you offer a free consultation with prospects to get conversations started with prospects?

4. Make Announcements

Send announcements to let your email readers know about an upcoming event, speaking engagement, an introduction of a new product or service, or a major change in your business.

When people sign up for your email list, they’re telling you that they’re receptive to receiving news about your brand. Use email marketing to help your subscribers get to know you, like you, and trust you! And the business will follow. Sign up for my marketing tips, and the Creatives Roundtable Email List
